# Privacy Policy

EDGAR A, LLC operates livenookandnest ("livenookandnest," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information when a person visits https://livenookandnest.shop, places an order, requests customer support, or uses another related store feature (collectively, the "Services").
EDGAR A, LLC is the controller for the processing described below. Shopify and other providers may separately act as controllers for processing whose purposes and methods they determine.

Depending on your interaction, information may include:
- name, email, telephone number, billing address, and delivery address;
- products ordered, transaction value, payment status, fulfillment, delivery, return, and refund details;
- account credentials and stored preferences where accounts are offered;
- customer-service messages, complaints, reviews, images, survey responses, and other content; and
- newsletter status, consent history, and privacy or advertising selections.
Payment credentials are entered through the provider made available during checkout. We generally receive transaction confirmation and limited payment data rather than a complete card number and security code.
### Information Recorded Automatically
We and providers supporting the Services may collect IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, identifiers, approximate IP-based location, referral source, viewed pages, cart events, checkout actions, and activity dates and times. Cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technology may be used.
### Information From Service Providers
We can receive relevant data from Shopify, payment and fraud-screening providers, warehouses, fulfillment services, delivery carriers, analytics or advertising companies, social networks, and other operational vendors.
## Purposes of Use
We may process personal information to:
- authorize payment, confirm and fulfill purchases, arrange delivery, send transaction messages, and handle cancellation, return, replacement, and refund requests;
- provide customer accounts and remember requested settings;

For processing governed by UK data protection law, the legal basis may be performance of a contract or requested pre-contract steps, compliance with law, consent, or legitimate interests in operating and securing the Store, preventing fraud, assisting customers, and improving the business. We balance legitimate interests against individual rights. Consent can be withdrawn for future processing at any time.

Necessary technology supports checkout, shopping carts, security, fraud prevention, and user-requested settings. Optional technology can support analytics, personalization, or advertising according to Store configuration, location, and consent choices.

- a prospective or completed investor, purchaser, lender, or successor involved in financing, restructuring, merger, acquisition, or asset transfer, subject to appropriate safeguards.
We do not sell personal information for money. Certain U.S. laws can nonetheless define cookie-based analytics or advertising disclosures as a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising. We recognize browser preference signals such as Global Privacy Control where required and supported by our Store configuration.
## Shopify
Shopify hosts livenookandnest and processes information needed to provide and improve its commerce platform. Data may be processed in the United States, Canada, or other countries. ## Retention
We keep personal information only for a period reasonably necessary for its purpose. Relevant factors include order completion, returns, warranties, support, the customer relationship, fraud prevention, claim limitation periods, and legal requirements for tax, accounting, or consumer records. Information no longer needed is deleted, anonymized, or securely restricted until deletion is possible.

Information can be processed in countries whose privacy laws differ from those where it was collected. When a transfer mechanism is required, we use an approved safeguard such as an adequacy regulation or decision, recognized contractual clauses, or another lawful method.

## U.S. State Disclosures
During the preceding 12 months, we may have collected identifiers and contact details, customer records, commercial and transaction information, internet or electronic activity, approximate IP-derived location, and shopping-interest inferences. Sources include customers, devices, and the providers identified above. We use and disclose these categories for the purposes stated here.
We do not knowingly process sensitive personal information to infer characteristics. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of consumers under 16. State privacy rights and disclosures apply only where the relevant law covers EDGAR A, LLC, the individual, and the processing.
## Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information directly.
